my favorite body mists ♡

Dear dollies, ♡

There’s something about perfume and body mists that I’ve always found so lovely. A scent can become connected to a season, a memory, or even a certain version of yourself. I especially love having different fragrances to match whatever mood I’m in.

Today I wanted to share some of the body mists that have become little favorites of mine. From warm vanilla and creamy scents to strawberry candy and cotton candy sweetness, these are the ones I keep reaching for again and again.

♡ Victoria's Secret — Vanilla Lace

9/10

Scent notes: Café Latte, Vanilla Orchid, Lily of the Valley, Hydrangea, Vanilla & Sandalwood.

The perfect autumn scent. ♡ Vanilla Lace is a creamy, warm vanilla without feeling too heavy. The little coffee-like creaminess in the opening makes it feel especially cozy, while the vanilla and sandalwood give it that warm, comforting dry down.

I could genuinely never get sick of this one. It's the kind of scent I want to wear when it's cold outside, I'm wearing a cute sweater and everything just feels a little more cozy. If autumn had a signature scent, this would be it for me. ~

♡ PINK — Strawberry Dip

Scent notes: Strawberry, Ice Cream & Strawberry Fizz Candy.

This one smells literally like a strawberry lollipop on a hot summer day. 🍓 It is fruity, creamy and extremely sweet, with that slightly fizzy candy-like scent that makes it feel very playful.

I absolutely love it when I want something fun and summery, but this is definitely one where less is more. If you spray too much, the sweetness can become a little sickly, which is why I gave it a 7/10.

♡ Miss KAY — Cutie Pie

6.5/10

Scent notes: Coconut, Almond, Rose, Heliotrope, Vanilla, Sandalwood & Musk.

This one definitely needs a little time to settle into the skin. When I first spray it, I don't immediately get the soft vanilla scent I'm looking for, but once it dries down, it leaves the prettiest faint, powdery vanilla scent.

The combination of vanilla, almond and coconut gives it a soft, almost creamy sweetness, the musk and sandalwood keep it from becoming too sugary.

I also love that this one has shimmer! ₊ ⊹ And because the bottle is so small, it's really practical to carry around with me and use for little touch-ups throughout the day. It's definitely more of a subtle scent than a statement fragrance.

♡ Victoria's Secret — Angel Cake & Cream

Scent notes: Pressed Flowers, Orange Blossom, Vanilla Orchid, Butter Cookie, Sweet Milk & Cloud Musks.

My newest addition! ♡

This is perfect for the days when I want to smell neutral and clean while still feeling feminine. When I first spray it, I get a soft floral vanilla with a slightly sweet, almost cakey quality. As it settles, the creamy notes become much more noticeable and it turns into the softest, fluffiest cream scent.

It's very light and airy, which is exactly what I like about it. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a heavy gourmand fragrance, so I think it's perfect as an everyday scent.

♡ PINK — XO, Sugar

Scent notes: Cotton Candy Skies, Whipped Vanilla & Sweet Musk.

One of my all-time favourite body mists. ♡

This smells so princessy and sweet. It's fluffy, sugary vanilla with a soft cotton-candy sweetness and just a little bit of musk underneath. If you have the Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth perfume, you will probably immediately understand why I love this one so much; to my nose, they smell exactly alike.

And the shimmer!! ₊ ⊹ The bottle itself is already so pretty, but the little sparkles left on the skin make it even better. My only complaint is that I really wish the scent lasted longer. I could happily smell like this all day. TT

♡ The Body Shop — Cotton Candy Kiss

10/10

Scent notes: Java Apple, Strawberry Bubble Gum & Fog Machine; Cotton Candy, Flower Bouquet & Glazed Sugar; Vanilla Bourbon, Tonka Bean & Creamy Musk.

The way this was such a lucky find and is now my favorite body spray. ~

I discovered this completely randomly while strolling through the shops with my boyfriend, and somehow I didn't even buy it! I regretted it almost immediately because I could still smell it on my arm hours later - and trust me, the scent is heavenlyyy.

And the name does not lie. It literally smells like a cotton candy kiss. 💋 It's sweet, sugary and playful, with a little strawberry bubblegum in the opening before settling into soft cotton candy, vanilla and creamy musk.

I kept thinking about it after I left the shop, so you can imagine how happy I was when my boyfriend told me a few days later that he had gone back and bought it for me. ♡

Needless to say, it earned its 10/10.

I think my favorite thing about body mists is how much they can change the feeling of an entire day. Sometimes I want to smell like warm vanilla and autumn, sometimes like strawberry candy in the middle of summer, and sometimes I just want to smell soft and pretty.
